Family traditions are very important to us. With all of our family being so far away, it was up to Jason & I to start our own family traditions with Blaze & Faith. We have several, including going to the park every Friday evening with pizza. Friday seems to be the one night (so far) that we don't have a scheduled event, so it is nice to see the kids being kids & running around the playground. They grow up SO FAST, so I know going to a playground will evolve into another location. As you can see from the pictures, Blaze is already using the playground equipment as a climbing wall. But, for now we are enjoying what's left of our "little kids".
"In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit" - Marge Kennedy
