This is Blaze's 1st year in tackle football. Last year he did flag, and he couldn't wait to get pads on and kick some serious butt. His team is the Pflugerville Panthers, and he has 5 really good coaches (5 brothers). Summer camp was quite intense to say the least (ummmmm....it's Texas). The coaches took no mercy on the boys, and in the 100+ degree heat, it was pretty brutal. Blaze never complained, and actually liked being sweaty and stinky....go figure. This year, the boys will not have one set position. The coaches want them to learn the game, and by playing them on offense and defense, they learn first hand.
"Some people think football is a matter of life and death....I can assure them it is much more serious than that." - Bill Shankley
