It doesn't happen every year, but we got lucky this year. We were so excited to have snow here, even if it was just for one day. All the schools closed early, which was crazy. It was like a spring day in Kodiak Alaska. But, for Texas it is pretty rare, so everything shuts down for snow. The kids were happy to come home and build snowmen. They had so much fun, and we appreciated the cold, because soon enough it will be HOT, HOT, HOT.
