I (Faith) was so excited to have my first camping trip with my Girl Scout Troop. Because this was our first time camping for 2 nights, we decided to camp in cabins. They were awesome! All the beds were bunk beds, so of course all of us girls slept on top and our Mom's slept on the bottom. We played games, made crafts, went on nature walks, and most importantly.....made smores! We stayed at Camp TexLake, which has 100's of acres of nature surrounding you, as well as horses, archery, swimming pool, ropes course, basically everything you would want in a campground. My Troop isn't old enough for the ropes course, but we can't wait to try it out in a few years. It was the best time and I'm already counting down until April when we go back for the weekend!
