January 2011 - Science Fair

Blaze decided to do his Science Fair Project on the harmful effects of soda.  He used chicken bones and placed them in containers filled with Sprite, Coke, Diet Coke, Rock Star, water and air.  After 2 weeks, he looked at them under the micro-scope and documented the results.  He wanted to show people that if soda can be harmful to your bones, maybe they would become aware of what it does to soft stomach tissue and other organs.  The result was what he expected.  The pores of the bones became larger because the acid from the soda ate away at the bone.  He did awesome, and did ALL the work himself.  Jason helped him by taking and getting the pictures developed.  He earned 100%, and was very proud of himself.  As you can see, Blaze has inherited our OCD gene.
